Chris was born and raised in Wyoming. He competed in state and regional junior golf tournaments throughout his youth. He officially entered the golf business in 1989, as the Assistant Golf Professional at the Cheyenne Country Club, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In 1993, he was elected for membership to the P.G.A. of America. The following year he moved to Denver, Colorado, to begin work as the Assistant Golf Professional at Lakewood Country Club.

In 1995, Chris left the golf business for an opportunity to work for a training division of AT&T and soon-to-be Lucent Technologies. He managed a customer service call center and held a team leader position through 2001. Over the same period he revived a childhood passion for the visual arts.

Chris studied fine art at the University of Colorado at Denver, and in 2003, he acquired a Bachelors degree in Fine Art. As a professional artist he displayed work in numerous venues in Denver, including The Courtyard by Marriott, Emmanuel Gallery, and Revoluciones Collective Art Space.

In 2004, Chris moved to Philadelphia. Since arriving in Philadelphia he earned exhibition at Afif Gallery, 1601 Cafe, and displayed small drawings and paintings for a solo show at Benna’s Cafe. Most recently his work was featured during a juried exhibit at The Well in Feasterville, Pennsylvania.

Chris returned to the golf business in 2006, and now works at Little Mill Country Club in Southern New Jersey. Chris continues to live in Philadelphia with his partner, Leigh Ann Campbell.
